Junior Curling Program 2026

Sundays from 6-8pm:

• Nov. 1 (rules, skills, technique)

• Nov. 8 (rules, skills, technique)

• Nov. 15 (team play, communication, etiquette)

• Dec. 29 (skills, scrimmages)

• Dec. 6 (skills, scrimmages)

• Dec. 13 (skills, scrimmages)

Dec. 19-20 Optional Junior Bonspiel

• Season concludes with a bonspiel (that’s curling lingo for “tournament”).

• Students will be ready to compete and have fun!

• Additional entry fee required. More details will be provided.

Cost:

• $50 covers insurance costs, refreshments, name tags and T-shirt for the Nov. 1 – Dec. 13 sessions.

• No student will be turned away for financial reasons – contact junior coordinator with questions.

Do I have to come to all sessions?

• No, come to how many ever you can. Please register so we know how many people to expect.

What should I wear?

• A clean pair of running/tennis shoes that were not worn to the club (we cannot have dirt on the ice).

• Loose layers of clothing to stay warm (it’s about 40 degrees on the ice). Some people wear hats & gloves.

What should I do as a parent/guardian?

• Enjoy some coffee while watching or help out on the ice. Please stay on site while child is on ice.

• If numbers permit it, try out curling for yourself.
