The following Membership Types are available at the Wausau Curling Club.
Membership type is determined primarily by the league or leagues in which you register during the open online registration period.
Your selected league participation will determine the appropriate membership category based on the curling privileges associated with each membership type.
Regular Full-Unlimited Curling
Annual Fee: $465.00A Regular / Full Membership provides unlimited curling in all leagues and unlimited subbing in any league.

- Unlimited subbing in any league
- Locker assignment
- Kitchen privileges on league nights
- Alcoholic beverages for curlers of legal drinking age

Volunteer Requirement
Regular / Full Members are expected to volunteer at least 10 hours to the club during the season or pay the volunteer buyout
First Year Curler--Regular
For new members joining the Wausau Curling Club this year.
A New Curler Regular / Full Membership provides unlimited curling in all leagues and unlimited subbing in any league.

Unlimited Daytime Curling
Annual Fee: $270.00An Unlimited Daytime Curling Membership provides unlimited curling in all daytime leagues, including:
- M/W/F Morning Open League
- Wednesday 1:00pm League
An Unlimited Daytime Curling Membership is available to curlers of any age and includes:
- Unlimited curling in all daytime leagues
- Locker assignment
- Kitchen privileges
- Voting rights
- Non-alcoholic beverages
- Free practice on open sheets
- USCA/USWCA dues, including on-ice insurance
League Access & Subbing
- Alcoholic beverages are not included or permitted during any daytime league.
- Daytime members may not sub in evening leagues, with one exception:
- Women registered as Unlimited Daytime Curlers may sub in the Thursday Women’s 5:30 PM League.
- A $20 subbing fee must be paid to the Thursday Women’s 5:30 PM League Chair before taking the ice.
- Failure to pay the subbing fee before the game will result in a forfeit.
Volunteer Requirement
Unlimited Daytime Curling Members are expected to volunteer at least 10 hours to the club during the year or pay the volunteer buyout.
Friday Mixed Only
Annual Fee: $330.00A Friday Mixed Only Membership is for curlers who wish to participate exclusively in the Friday Evening Mixed League.
A Friday Mixed Only Membership is available to curlers of any age and includes:
- Curling in the Friday Evening Mixed League
- Locker assignment
- Kitchen privileges on league nights
- Alcoholic beverages for curlers of legal drinking age
- Non-alcoholic beverages
- Voting rights
- Free practice on open sheets
- USCA/USWCA dues, including on-ice insurance
League Access & Subbing
- This membership is limited to the Friday Evening Mixed League.
- Subbing in any other league is not permitted.
Volunteer Requirement
Friday Mixed Only Members are expected to volunteer at least 10 hours to the club during the year or pay the volunteer buyout.
Sunday Open Only
Annual Fee: $360.00A Sunday Open Only Membership is for curlers who wish to participate exclusively in the Sunday Open League.
A Sunday Open Only Membership is available to curlers of any age and includes:
- Curling in the Sunday Open League
- Locker assignment
- Kitchen privileges on league days
- Alcoholic beverages for curlers of legal drinking age
- Non-alcoholic beverages
- Voting rights
- Free practice on open sheets
- USCA/USWCA dues, including on-ice insurance
League Access & Subbing
- This membership is limited to the Sunday Open League.
- Subbing in any other league is not permitted.
Volunteer Requirement
Sunday Open Only Members are expected to volunteer at least 10 hours to the club during the year or pay the volunteer buyout.
Student/Junior Membership
Annual Fee: $255.00A Student / Junior Membership is for curlers who are under 25 years old and enrolled as full-time students.
Students enrolled in post-secondary education must provide proof of enrollment to qualify for the reduced Student / Junior Membership rate.
Student / Junior Members are eligible for unlimited curling in all leagues and unlimited subbing.
A Student / Junior Membership is available to eligible curlers and includes:
- Unlimited curling in all leagues
- Unlimited subbing in any league
- Locker assignment (unless also registered as a high school curler)
- Kitchen privileges on league nights
- Alcoholic beverages for curlers of legal drinking age
- Non-alcoholic beverages
- Voting rights
- Free practice on open sheets
- USCA/USWCA dues, including on-ice insurance
Volunteer Requirement
Student / Junior Members are expected to volunteer 10 hours to the club during the year or pay the volunteer buyout.
WCC Honorary Green Jacket Lifetime
Annual Fee: $150.00An Honorary “Green Jacket” Lifetime Membership is bestowed by the Wausau Curling Club in recognition of an individual’s dedicated lifetime of service to the club.
Membership Benefit
- A $150 membership discount is applied to the membership category under which the honoree registers if they choose to curl.
Social
Annual Fee: $165.00A Social Membership is intended for individuals who wish to remain connected with and support the Wausau Curling Club but do not wish to participate in curling activities.
