January Learn To Curl
. When you attend a learn-to-curl event you’ll get instruction from our members and you will learn:
- The history of Curling, the sportsmanship that drive the game, and some of the terminology used when playing.
- How to be safe when walking on the ice and delivering a stone.
- Proper delivery technique.
- How to put the “curl” into curling.
- How to sweep a stone.
- How to score an end.
You will also learn how to become a member and the leagues that are available to new curlers.
If you cannot get low and deliver a stone like an Olympian, do not worry! We also can teach you how to stick-curl.
The Event runs from 9 AM to 12 PM. Check-In begins at 8:30 AM.
