Registration for the 49th USSMCA National Championships is now open. 

The Championships will take place Thursday, February 19 through Sunday, February 22, 2026 and will be hosted by the Wausau Curling Club in Wausau, Wisconsin.

The Wausau Curling Club will host an opening reception on Wednesday, February 18 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the curling club. The address of the club is 1920 Curling Way, Wausau, WI.

Curling will start Thursday morning and continue throughout the weekend. To facilitate reasonable draw times, several draws will also be played at the Stevens Point Curling Club (30 minutes south of Wausau) on Thursday and Friday.

This year we are targeting a total of 80 teams. In accordance with USSMCA guidelines the Masters division will have 16 teams, but we may well increase the number of teams in the Super Senior division beyond its traditional 16 teams. Under USSMCA operating guidelines a Super Senior team must have all members of the team be at least 63 years of age.

The annual banquet will be held Thursday evening at the Jefferson Street Inn and Event Center in Wausau. The Jefferson Street Inn is offering discounted room rates for USSMCA curlers. Hotel reservations can be made by calling the Jefferson Street Inn at 715.845.6500 and mentioning Wausau curling.

The Wausau Curling Club will provide soda, beer, wine, and mixed drinks at the club to all USSMCA National Championships curlers and paid guests during the event. Breakfast and lunch will also be provided at the club each day. Other than the banquet on Thursday evening, dinners will be on your own. A list of good quality restaurants will be provided in the event program.
